Earthquake?!?

That's right people....we had an earthquake in the midwest. It was initially rated as a 5.4, but then later taken down to a 5.2. It was quite crazy, because I don't think I've ever experienced an earthquake before. It was basically just a bunch of shaking and rattling at a little after 4:30 this morning. No damage really. There was one lady who reported in a county nearby that her front porch collapsed and she was trapped in her house. Now...the earthquake really wasn't that big of a deal, so if I were you....don't go in that lady's house. If her porch collapsed with a small amount of shaking I would be questioning the structure. 5.0-5.9 is considered moderate and we were on the low end of that. Usually there is major damage to poorly constructed buildings (hence the lady with the porch) over small regions. At most, slight damage to well-designed buildings. Basically they are often felt, but rarely cause damage. The people in California are just laughing at us right now....
Alright, well I am committed to studying today. Just wanted to update you on our exciting morning.
Until...............
