This is ridiculous! FOUR inches of snow! Isn't it Spring?!
After helping my mom shovel the driveway and dig out my car this morning (Dad was at church helping to shovel the parking lot) I was sweaty, tired, and hungry. I was going to go to church, but my mom told me to stay at home, so that is what I did. I stayed home and made my Loaded Pretzels for Doctor's Day tomorrow. Everyone was instructed to bring something and that is what I am taking. They are very yummy, and pretty simple to make. You just have to add all the chips, nuts, toffee bits (and m&m's...my special addition) in a shallow container, melt the caramel with some evaporated milk in the microwave, dip the pretzels, roll the pretzels, lay the pretzels on wax paper. Voila!
It actually takes a little longer than it seems, but the time goes by fast and of course there is more to it than just throwing it all together-- zip zam boom.
Now, I'm going to take a shower, hunker down with a good book and read the day away. :)
