Well, after that night I posted on my mafia friend, he was not heard of again. I'm thinking he's been taken out by another rat mafia family. No stench as of yet, and it's been 2 days since the last scratch was heard. Only time will tell.

I had my last lecture day today. I'm so glad to have all that behind me. now I just need to finish out the rest of orientation and I will be on my own. :/

Vacation plans are coming together. We have our flight and hotel booked. This whole thing seems to be creeping up on us. After all it's only been around 6 weeks since we decided we were going to do a vacation this year. Last year we had like 10 months to prepare for NY.

I've been in the mood to shop lately. Not for anything in particular really, but in the mood none the less. I need to run to the mall for a few things, but am waiting until the weekend so I will have my paycheck. I've become a bit of a freak because I had to fork over so much money for the down payment on my car. I'm not pennyless or anything, but my comfy cushion is gone, and so I'm watching my spending carefully. I have bills to pay, money to put in savings and I will probably set aside a little money for clothes or something miscellaneous.

Yes, I realize I'm in the "adult world" now. No need to hear anyone say it again. Frankly, I'm quite sick of hearing it. It's condescending and rude. It's not as though I'm a frivilous spender and need to be reminded of my adult responsibilities. I'm well aware and handling it quite well in my opinion. I've always been careful with my money and am getting used to these new added responsibilities in my life. End of rant.

Is anyone else afflicted with awful sinus issues? This change in weather lately has been wreaking havoc on my sinuses. I feel pressure in my head everyday, and I'm getting quite tired of it. I doubt sitting in a room listening to lecture after lecture helps any.

Satellite radio. It's lovely. My car is still under contract or something for the satellite radio, so I get it for a little while (free of charge, I think) and I'm enjoying it to the fullest. Mind you I haven't been in my car lately other than to go to and from work, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Less talk, no commercials, all music! I love the stations that are geared toward specific types/genres. 80's. Pop. Hits. Country. *Sigh* I'm in love. I'll be sad when it's gone. I'm keeping it at arms length so I'm not totally lost without it, but it's hard not to be totally smitten with it's plentiful array of musical goodness.

Qdoba. YUM! I was just recently introduced to this Mexican restaraunt and it is oh so good. I've only been twice, and both times I've gotten the Nachos (so much more than what it sounds like), but I think it could quickly become a favorite of mine. A nice alternative to Panera and Olive Garden, two of my other favorites.
