I have finally chosen a new blog layout!!! The sad part is I can't put it up until the poll is over (*EDIT: I changed the poll so it will end this Saturday at 8p. Six days is too long for me to wait :)*), because if I put it up now the poll will be lost and six of you have already voted!! Thanks guys! There are 2 "accidents" but otherwise you people know me. :) So, stay tuned for a new look... new music.... it'll be fun!
Today was my last day of class for this semester!!!! Now I just need to study for finals and I am good to go. The only bummer about this summer is that I have to do an online discussion for the class portion of my extern. It shouldn't be too difficult, but it will still be a pain. I've been going to school for almost 4 years straight (no free summers). That is just not right!
Well, just wanted to say hello! I went shopping with my mom tonight and got a few things. Still no shoes. :( I'll keep looking, and hopefully I will find something in the next week (since that's all I'll have before vacation). I found some adorable brown shoes while on a brief shopping stint with my bud Callie after lunch. I'll go back and get them when I have a coupon though. :) I'm cheap like that. Haha! But the search continues on for black shoes....
Until......................

Seis de Mayo
I know, I know... I'm a day late. I was busy with paperwork and doing NOTHING last night, that I forgot to blog on Cinco de Mayo. Whenever I think of Cinco de Mayo I think of High School spanish class. Let me tell you... not fun. I took 3 years, and I only took the third, because I thought it would look good for college. That's shameful I know. *hanging head*
So my dear friend Leah had her baby....finally! Little Callan Jay joined the world and his parents couldn't be happier (especially his Mama). Congrats Mommy, Daddy, and big sis Lacey!!!
Today was my LAST Adult clinical EVER!! I could not be happier!! I just have to get through tomorrow (and by get through I mean wake up at 9, get ready, drive to the health dept, talk for an hour with my clinical group, and then go out to eat). Finals are Monday and Wednesday of next week, so wish me luck with studying!
Although it is almost 7 o'clock at night I am in the mood to shop. I guess I'm getting more excited about vacation, and since I still need some last minute stuff I want to get going. I need tennis shoes... badly!! I want some flat black ones that are sporty.... not black reeboks (right Robin? :)haha). I found some I liked at Target, but there weren't any in my size... plus my sis got them, so I want something different. I might go shopping tomorrow after clinical.... Anyone want to come along?
Saturday is Race for the Cure. Hopefully it isn't cold like it was last year. I can't decide what kind of bag I want to take. I took a small backpack thing last year, but it ended up just annoying me when it bounced against my back that I had to carry it at my side the whole race, and that's almost more annoying than the repetitive bounce against my back. I'll think of something. I want to take my camera, and a water bottle, plus money for breakfast afterwards with the fam. Hmm... dilemma, dilemma. I also need to find a bag to take with me on vacation. I think I have one in mind, but I need to make sure everything fits appropriately. Preparing for vacation is so stressful!! Can I get an Amen??
Well, I don't have anything to do tonight, so I guess I could start cleaning my room, or organizing for my trip, or doing my small group study, or study for finals.......or just sit and do nothing. Hmm... I'll have to ponder this one. :P
Have a good Wednesday everyone!! Talk to you soon I'm sure................

Last minute to do's...
This brown layout is much better than the black and turquoise one from before. This is a little more "earthy".
Well, I'm nearing closer and closer to the start of my next semester, and I can't say that I'm super excited about it. From what we've heard this semester is the hardest. I heard last semester was kind of bad too, and seeing that I survived that ok I'm not getting to anxious about this one. I do dread the extra paperwork though. Oh well... such is life. Better paperwork than an extra class I suppose.
I have so much to do it seems before classes start up again, and I'm wondering why I put so much off until now. Robin and I are planning to get together so we can get her book for Adult, and then I need to finish getting (or rather start getting) my juniors something for their orientation. Was it really the smartest thing for me to take on 4 juniors to mentor when this semester could be the death of me? I'm not so sure.
Well, I think I'll go take some medicine to get rid of this floating feeling my head has taken on. Enjoy hump day!
