Busy, Sick, and that's about it...

I'm ashamed. I once was an avid blogger. Now I am a once every two weeks kind of gal. :( I will work harder to be better.

The last week and half has been a busy one. I've had lots of work, a few appointments, and this past Sunday I was struck with an evil stomache bug. It was fast, and it was mean. I got up and headed to work, but I only made it halfway through report before I dashed out of there and got sick in the bathroom. Needless to say I spent the rest of the day at home in bed. Monday was a time for extended recovery, and then by Tuesday I was back at the hospital for lecture. Work yesterday was exciting, and busy. I got to help admit a 24-weeker. I didn't get out to lunch until 3:30p! I was exhausted when I got home. I've been falling asleep at about 9:30p every night, regardless of if I had to work that day or not. Can we say old woman??

Anyway, I'm on the road to full recovery now. I would say that I'm at 90% right now. I have a busy day tomorrow. MOPS in the am, lunch with a friend at noon, and then I have to go get fitted for my bridesmaid dress. I was also informed earlier that we are going out to dinner for my dad's birthday tomorrow since he was in CA for his actual birthday. Good thing I hadn't made plans already.

I'm hoping that my dad will take me car browsing/shopping this weekend too. I drove my car today for the first time in about 2 weeks. I can't believe the shape its in. I don't really notice as much until I go from driving my parents cars to mine again. As I drove it around this afternoon running errands I was thankful that it had made it as long as it has. We prayed it would get me through school and it did. I was hoping it would last until mid-March and it has. It was a good little car, but I'm ready to move on now. It needs to retire at the ripe old age of eleven. Yup, the car is 11 years old. We drive 'em until they die.

Well, I need to go copy over some lecture notes into my little handbook. Hope everyone had a good week. I can't wait until the warm weather comes back! It was such a tease last week! I'm sick and tired of freezing!
