Have you ever found a shirt or a pair of pants or just about anything that you love so much that you buy 2 or 3 of them in varying colors?
I was having one of those moments today.
I went to get my hair trimmed at 9:30a this morning to try and relieve some of this unbearable weight on my head. After that I went to get gas in my car and headed to the Old Navy to get some shirts and browse, as well as stop in to Borders for a book.
Once inside ON I saw this simple white sweater. Something about it caught my eye. It might have been the hideous shirt underneath it, but I walked over to the table anyway. Then I saw it... an adorable grey sweater (same kind as the white), but it had a white dragonfly on the upper left side. I fell in love.... I picked it up and meandered around a bit more. I initially went in to get some short sleeve shirts to wear under my scrubs. I ended up getting 5 of the same tee in different colors? Is that a little overboard? I don't think so. After all, I wear scrubs 3 times a week, so it's really necessary for me to have that many tees, or atleast that's how I'm justifying my purchase. :) I went in the dressing room, tried on a cute pink shirt, that hanging on the hnager was adorable... on my body... yuk! Then I tried on the sweater. Was it going to fit? Was it going to look right?
Yes! It did!! I was so excited. I seriously contemplated getting another one. I even went back to the table and looked again. I thought that buying tees in 5 different colors wasn't a bad thing, but buying a sweater in the same color may have been a bit crazy. So I refrained. :( If I still want it by next weekend though I might go back and get another one, or order it online.
Am I the only one that does this? Buys clothing in "bulk"? I know my sis Lisa does, but does anyone else? Are we the only crazies?
Hmm... well, I better go. I need to finish doing my hair, do something for work, and copy some pictures to my flash drive for my great aunt.

Now, the thing about painting pottery is that the colors you actually paint with are not what it will look like when it is glazed and comes out of the kiln. I'll try and get a picture of Jen's after. You won't believe what it's really supposed to look like. :)
